Cristiana Couceiro is a Portuguese illustrator which creates her art focusing on creating collages with newspaper, tiles, vintage images, and scraps of paper, all in a very clean and nostalgic style. (Cristiana Couceiro, 03 April 2020)
This is my intertretation of Cristiana Couceiro art style. To produce this piece I has used the created shapes in the Adobe XD as the background. Then the primary photograph was stuck onto the background with edge of the building being cut and added black triange as a shadow with additional grey rectangle shadow. As the shodows were added, the background person from my primary photographs to show masterminding. This shows that each historical epoch has a dark side to it which links with Cristiana Couceiro in terms of every Couceiro’s piece has a meaning as the pieces were created. This is a collage in the style of Cristiana Couceiro which shows tthe Religion being extremely important during 1930s. To produce this piece I has used the solid colour background with a sligtly transparent red square and bright red rectangle. The buiding in this collage is the old photograpg of a Lithuanian Church in city Plunge during 1930s. However it was slightly extended to show dimension and asymmetry. The group of people going to the church were also added to show the importance of the Religion during 20th century and how lots of people going to the church every Sunday by hand writing the phrase “Second Home”. This is my intertretation of Cristiana Couceiro art style to show the hidden artists. To produce this piece I have used the primary photograph of the door which was magically painted by the unknown artist or even person. Which was then mirrored to the other side to make a frame with grey and red rectangles. The ground with a mesh and the frame were also scribbled to link this piece to the artist. Rabbits used from the primary photgraph to show the hidden artists which are not payed attention by the people by hand writing the word “Artisto”.
